The cashing up feature can be controlled via the menu item “Daily report” in the upper right
corner. Cashing up serves to record the current amount of money at the checkout. Once the
“Cashing up” feature is selected, the cash drawer springs open and the money received can be
counted.
The actual cash amount can then be recorded via a numeric keypad on the system. KLARA
indicates the amount calculated as well as the actual cash balance and displays any difference.
If there is a difference, KLARA posts this automatically in accounting and continues to work
with the cashing up entered from this period
