Employees who are already registered in KLARA can be added directly to KLARA Time.
If you have not yet created any employees in KLARA Salary, you can either enter a new employee or create an external person. In contrast to employees, external persons are not listed in KLARA Salary because they are not wage earners.
How to add employees in KLARA in general is shown here.
In the case of new persons, the following points in particular must be specified in KLARA Time:
With the "Create employee" option, the personal details are transferred directly and do not have to be filled in again. When an external person is created, personal information must be entered first.
If reporters are created in KLARA Time, their e-mail address must be entered so that an invitation for time recording in KLARA Time can be sent.
What is recorded?
You have to select here whether the person is activated for KLARA Time and/or for KLARA Project. Activate the "Time tracking" switch if you want to use KLARA Time.
Information about KLARA Project can be found here . KLARA Project and KLARA Time also work well together. In this way you have the complete overview
One or more superiors can be assigned to the reporting person. Supervisors can view the recorded working time. More information about the different roles and authorisations is described in this article: Roles and permissions in KLARA Time.
Target working hours can be specified for reporting persons, but this is not mandatory. When creating a new person, a first period with the entered employment relationship is automatically added. If the employment relationship changes, a new one with a period with other configurations can be added here later.
If a planned working time exists, the employment and working time (actual workload) must be specified. This working time can then be distributed over the days of the week.
The place of work is defined so that the public holidays are stored correctly. If no place of work can be selected, this must be added beforehand under "Company" -> "Place of work”. Public holidays can aso be defined in this menu.
Holiday is entered for the whole year and at a 100% workload. The effective holiday days are calculated on the basis of the employment settings and, if applicable, the period (e.g. if someone is only employed for six months).
