To import your customer or article data you can first download the import template under “Customers/Partners” or “Articles”. You can download the template via the arrow icon on the top right. You will find the list on the same place in both areas. The import process described here is the same for both customer and article imports.
As soon as you have downloaded the template, you can start with filling in the list. Please note that all fields marked with an asterisk (*) are mandatory fields. That means, here you must make an entry. In each column you will find a title and an explanation/example of what is needed for an entry.
Once you have entered all data, you upload the list again in KLARA. To do this, click on the arrow icon on the top right and import the list via the import window.
It occurs that KLARA shows you error messages. These errors must be corrected manually in the list. You can open it, to see where the errors are in the document.
To do so, click on “Show lines in file”.
KLARA will then show you exactly which rows and which columns are affected. You can correct them directly in the excel file.
Afterwards, you can import the document again. This process needs to be repeated until all errors are solved and you are able to import your articles/customers.
