Automatic bank reconciliation is possible with the following banks:
Under Company - Bank relationship you can then set up the connection for your deposited bank account. To do this, click on the button Set up connection, read the instructions and information carefully and carry out the process step by step.
Please note that this connection process must be started in KLARA and, depending on the bank, you may be redirected to e-banking and have to log in there to give the final approval. At the very end, you will be redirected back to KLARA where you have to log in to complete the process.
In the Accounting section under Sync you can now manually trigger the synchronisation of your bank account or wait for KLARA to do it automatically. Your bank account transactions are automatically updated once a night. Transactions are only loaded from the time of activation. This means that older, past bank transactions are not synchronised. You can do this via camt.053 file upload. Have a look at the following article: Transaction file for bank reconciliation: CAMT.053d
You can now also generate payment files in KLARA and transfer them to e-banking. Since we only have a transport authorisation, the payments also need to be approved in e-banking after transmission. This means that your bank account is not yet debited with the transfer of the payment file, the file is only sent and is ready for release in e-banking after approx. 30 minutes.
Important: Please note additionally that in KLARA the company account is always linked via the contract number. Since this is a personal number, only the user who has made the bank connection can automatically transmit payments to the bank. The same contract number cannot be shared by several users.
The procedure differs for following banks:
PostFinance
The process likewise starts in KLARA under Company - Bank Relationship using the Set up connection button.
However, you will not be redirected to e-banking to give the approval, but an application form will be created automatically and pre-filled in KLARA based on your data. You do not have to make any additions, KLARA already fills everything in automatically.
Print out the forms and sign both. Afterward you have to send them to Postfinance.
You can still find the documents later in your document folder in KLARA.
After about one working week, the connection from KLARA to your account should be released and from that moment on, your bank transactions will be automatically uploaded to KLARA on a daily basis and you can send payment files to Postfinance. After about 30 minutes, the payments are ready for release in your e-banking.
Raiffeisen and Basel Cantonal Bank
No prior activation is required for these two banks. As soon as you have entered your bank account under Company - Bank relationship, you can go directly to Sync in KLARA and click on the button synchronise now. The login window of your e-banking will then appear in KLARA and you can log in to synchronise your bank transactions.
Unlike the banks mentioned above, there is no automatic daily data exchange. This means that it always requires your consent via in-app login to retrieve movements or transmit payment files.
