You have the option to delete both your company, KLARA Home and your user account independently in KLARA. Please note that this is only possible if you are the administrator of your company.
Important notes before deletion:
After the deletion process, data cannot be recovered. Therefore, we strongly recommend that you back up all relevant information you still need locally on your computer. Also, consider the legal retention requirements for certain data. After deletion, you will no longer have access.
Before deleting your company or account, make sure that:
- No other users have access to your company. Users can be deleted as follows: Delete users from my account.
- All active widgets in the Widgetstore are deactivated. Instructions for this can be found here: Deactivate widgets
- The KLARA website and the KLARA Regio App are deactivated. Deactivation is done according to this guide: Deactivate online presence.
- All bank connections in KLARA are deleted. Instructions for this: Delete bank data.
- All outstanding invoices are settled. If you are unsure, please contact support. You can find KLARA's invoices as follows: Invoices from KLARA.
Deleting Company in KLARA
- Go to "Company" and then "Edit Company Data."
- In the editing screen, select "Delete Company."
- If previous steps are not completed, you will be prompted to delete users or deactivate widgets.
- After completing these steps, the deletion will proceed. A verification code will be sent via email and is valid for 10 minutes.
- After successfully entering the code, you can click "Delete."
- A confirmation message will appear, and you will receive an email confirmation of the successful deletion of your company in KLARA.
Deleting KLARA Home
To delete your Home account in KLARA, follow these steps:

Go to the "Employer" section and select "Edit Employer Data."

In the editing screen, choose "Delete Company."

A verification code will be sent via email and is valid for 10 minutes.

After successfully entering the code, you can click on "Delete."

A confirmation message will appear, and you will receive an email confirmation of the successful deletion of your Home account.
Deleting User Account in KLARA
The prerequisite for deleting your entire account is that you have only one active company in KLARA and you also want to delete it.
- After your single or last company has been deleted, you will receive an email confirmation.
- If you want to delete your account, click on the link received via email.
- Follow the link to automatically access the deletion process in KLARA.
- After requesting deletion, you will receive a confirmation within the application that your account has been successfully deleted in KLARA.
