1.) Deactivate the “Barcode scanner” setting in the KLARA POS app
2.) Fully close the KLARA POS app
3.) Detach the barcode scanner from the tablet and deactivate the Bluetooth connection on the tablet
4.) Scan the lower code on page 5 “Factory restore”
5.) Scan the lower code on page 3 “Bluetooth transmission”
6.) Scan the code on page 5 “Basic mode”
7.) Activate the Bluetooth connection on the tablet and link the barcode scanner
8.) Check whether the setting for the entry device is activated. You will find this at:
Settings --> Bluetooth -> “NETUM Bluetooth” at the i -> Entry device must be activated blue
9.) Open the KLARA POS app and connect the barcode scanner in the settings
10.) Go to the sales template
11.) Activate the barcode scanner by clicking once and then try to scan barcode
12.) When first connecting the scanner, do not plug into the power
Reasons for "wrong" scans
If special caracters have been used in the barcode scanner (for example zZyY or maybe äöüÄÖÜ), this might lead to wrong scans. By default, the scanner is set by an English QUWERTY keyboard. If the tablet is set for German QUWERTZ, these signs can not be correctly identified. You can change the language of the scanner into German, Italian or French with one of the barcodes in the booklet (page 6).
