You employ someone (e.g. a cleaner or home help) on a private basis in your home. What do you have to consider in this case?
KLARA supports you in this process with various tips and procedural steps and things that you must not forget. It is important that you register your employee with the OASI. You must now ask yourself an important question. Have you employed people privately in the past and are you registered in the OASI as an employer?
KLARA asks this question in the original registration process.
YES
Your OASI registration as an employer is therefore no longer necessary. All you need to do now is to notify the compensation fund about the start of work of your employee. KLARA does this for you in just a few clicks once you have entered your employee.
NO
KLARA helps you as employer with your registration with the corresponding compensation fund by providing you automatically with a registration form with the most relevant data. You can download this once you have entered your employee, print it out, sign it and send it to the corresponding compensation fund. In most cases the information on this form is sufficient.
If you should have forgotten to download this form, which KLARA has provided for you, you can access it at any time under Employer > Documents > Own documents.
Depending on the compensation fund, it is possible that you will receive an additional form that you will have to complete and sign in order to complete your registration as employer.
A small tip to conclude: It is mandatory for you to conclude accident insurance for your employee. Also other insurances could be helpful for you as well. KLARA supports you in this with various offers from our partners during the registration process.
