If you want to use multiple cash registers simultaneously in your gastronomy business, you can mirror your table configuration and all orders on tables as well as all take-away orders to all cash registers. This allows your staff to view and manage all orders on each cash register in near real-time. This is helpful, for example, in table service with several service staff and multiple cash registers.
The entire order is always mirrored, including all courses, items, their quantity and prices, all notes, discounts, and of course all partial payments already made.
In Gastro Mode, you can activate multiple KLARA cash registers for synchronization of table orders. To do this, go to the "Settings" menu on the cash register, scroll down a bit, and enable mirroring.
💡 Access to this setting is only available to users with administrator rights on the cash register, and there must be no active orders on tables or take-away at the time of activation.
Once this setting is enabled, this cash register will synchronize all table orders via the cloud with other enabled cash registers. That means: The device sends any changes to a table to all other devices with mirroring enabled. Likewise, the device receives all changes from other devices and displays them immediately. All data related to the table is mirrored, including all courses, items, notes, discounts, etc. Any partial payments already made are also mirrored.
If a device is offline , all new, modified, and completed orders will be mirrored as soon as the cash register regains connectivity. See the support article for further details on offline behavior.
⚠️ Important: Each cash register must also be registered and activated in the KLARA web app to avoid issues with mirroring. Each cash register to be mirrored must be individually activated by a user with admin status on the cash register.
Below is a short video example showing how this looks:

⚠️ Important to note:
- Only one cash register can edit the same order at the same time
- If multiple cash registers happen to access and modify an order simultaneously, the system must decide which changes are applied and which are not
- If you have tables where your devices do not have internet reception, always use the same device for the same tables. This helps to avoid unplanned problems.
